Carol Ann is a learner, educator, and artist. Originally from Chester, Vermont, she came to Rhode Island to earn her B.A. in Education Studies from Brown University in 2007, and stayed post graduation to immerse herself in Providence’s vibrant arts and non-profit community. When she is not sewing at New Urban Arts, she buzzes around as the Program Director of The Hive Archive, serves as the Administrative Coordinator at the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities and runs her own independent business, Connect the Dots Crafts.  She is excited to be back for her second year as a mentor.
