Christina Lawrence

Christina grew up in central Connecticut, where her parents instilled in her the love of a good book and an appreciation for a lively debate. After studying American art and literature at Vassar College, she moved to Providence and received her MAT in English Education from Brown University in 2008. She currently works at English for Action, where she explores the nature of time travel and the endless potential of cardboard with kids in Olneyville. Christina has many questions about the world, but knows she is interested in words, stories, the ways people teach and learn, and the relationships they build with one another. She is really excited to study, do homework, and get sidetracked with everyone as a Studio Study Buddy at New Urban Arts.
