Kah Yangni

Kah makes art. So far, she’s had her art in a lesbian coloring book, one parade, a handful of shows, several art and literature journals, a couple of student papers, one mobile app about HP Lovecraft, and several cool people’s Tumblr blogs. A recent Brown University graduate, she is also cobbling together a professional life that brings together her interests in the arts, relationship building, and aspiring to help young people become more of themselves. Kah is currently serving as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America, and is donating a year of her life to support arts programming for local kids through Providence ¡CityArts! for Youth; in the past, she’s worked with the Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism, Arts Allies, and Brown Arts Mentoring. Kah is very excited to mentor in a place where people can be themselves, together.
