Rachel Cronin

Rachel likes to dance everywhere and often. As the daughter of a 2nd-grade teacher and parents who liked to belt Phantom of the Opera duets in the living room, she has grown up with a strong love of education and the arts. Attending Brown University, she was able to
explore dance, theater and languages. Since graduating she has had the joy of working with youth in many welcoming and creative environments.

She was lucky enough to tutor behind a secret bookcase door at 826NYC, bond with 4th graders at Harlem Children’s Zone and become immersed in the creative community at Providence CityArts for Youth. She currently spends her time with the wonderful families, volunteers and staff at the Providence Children’s Museum. She is excited to become a part of the New Urban Arts community as a Studio Study Buddy.
