Rachelle “Shelly” Hyson is the current Studio Advocate for New Urban Arts. Shelly is a recent graduate of Bridgewater State University; obtaining their Bachelors of Science in Social Work on May of 2018. They are currently at Rhode Island College obtaining their Masters of Social Work with a concentration in macro-level social work. Shelly is a laid-back individual that enjoys comic books, listening to music, and advocating for the LGBT community. Shelly is excited to meet all the lovely individuals at New Urban Arts and see all the amazing pieces the students create.
