Kevin Harper is a native Chicagoan, who now calls Providence home. He currently serves as New Urban Arts Operations Coordinator, while also bringing his passions for sewing, tailoring, design and entrepreneurship to our studio as the Resident Artist Mentor in Fashion and Sewing. Kevin holds a bachelors degree from DePaul University in Leadership and studied pattern-making, menswear construction, women’s tailoring, and leather design techniques at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Kevin nurtures two babies: his menswear line, Joe Beau Ties, and a 5-year-old, Greyson.
