DESCRIPTION:This year’s Mid-Year Makings is an extra special one! Over the past two years\, New Urban Arts has slowly been renovating our studio to expand our space for students and staff. We are happy to announce that construction is (finally) complete\, and we are now operating at full capacity with more space than ever for creativity! \nAs a community art studio and gallery where artists and high school students build powerful mentoring relationships\, the space we provide is crucial to the creativity that blossoms. We invite you to join us as we reveal the renovations and celebrate new artworks by students! Witness the brainstorms\, beginnings\, and the bloomings of mid-year makings. \nThis event\, as well as New Urban Arts’ recent renovations\, were made possible by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA).
