Addy first joined the NUA community in 2017 as a Study Buddy, and transitioned to the role of NUA’s inaugural Resident Artist Mentor in the Literary Arts in 2019. They now serve as NUA’s Interim A Life After School Coordinator, supporting students with their plans after high school. Addy received their B.A. in American Studies from Brown University in 2019. They hail from the snowy region of Rochester, NY and now call Providence their home.
Dedicated to a critical pedagogy, Addy is often thinking about popular education and cooperative economics and governance. They love moving and dancing, being outside (no matter the weather), reading, vegetables, and building loving communities of all shapes and sizes.
