This year is extra special because we’re not only celebrating New Urban Arts’ 27th birthday, but we are also celebrating Daniel Schleifer, who will be leaving NUA this summer after working with us for 17 years!

From his volunteer days to his leadership as Executive Director, Dan has put his heart and soul into the organization. Since 2007, almost any time you enter NUA, you would see Dan, convincing students that math can be creative, leading meetings with partners and funders, or just hanging out and laughing with young people. New Urban Arts would not be where we are today without Dan’s care and leadership.

We invite you to join us in celebrating NUA’s birthday and giving a toast to Dan for all that he has done to make NUA a place where students can truly be themselves and be part of a loving community. To celebrate all the love, care, and work that Dan has put into NUA, we aim to DOUBLE our funds raised last year and raise $35,000 this year. Your donation would really support us in reaching our goal and support the youth art programs and mentorship offered here at NUA! 

Join us for music and fun, including our annual silent auction with artwork by our community artists and a raffle of prize baskets donated by local businesses, and of course, free food and drinks!

This event is 21+ only, with childcare provided for young children. Tickets are PWYC (pay what you can). Feel free to claim a free ticket, but we still ask that you RSVP below!
