New Urban Arts owes so much of its character to the only city it could have come from. This year, we’re celebrating our 28th birthday by celebrating everything that makes Providence so special!

Whether it’s our accessible bike paths, an Olneyville hot weiner, the murals and tags that paint our buildings in beautiful colors, or the creativity and talent of the people inside them, we’re honoring the unique culture of our city and its investment in spaces for young artists to be themselves. Over 28 years of operation, New Urban Arts has partnered with dozens of local organizations to expose our youth to hundreds of Providence’s treasures, and we’re always finding more. NUA would not be what it is today without visits from our community members and field trips all over town (Or the public transit system we all love to take us there!)

What about Providence inspires you? We invite you to hop on RIPTA on Friday, April 25th and come share with us as we toast the town and NUA’s birthday together. Join us for music and fun, including our annual silent auction with artwork by our community artists and a raffle of prize baskets donated by local businesses.
