Cara Adams is a fiber artist, puppet maker, Costume Designer, crafter, illustrator, tap dancer, writer, baker, Trekie, lover of bad puns, and just an all around goof. She makes a variety of fiber-y creatures, both wearable and non, from discarded clothing and fabric. She tires to give new life to unwanted or undervalued everyday objects attatching stoires to them that are only loosly based in reality. Though she grew up in Maine, she came to Providence by way of Chicago where she went to school for Costume design. She hates Pina Coladas, but she thinks getting caught in the rain isn’t so bad if its a warm summer rain and if she’d not on her bike.
