Mira (she/her) is a painter and sculptor who studies visual arts at Brown University. Through her time as a student, she has also developed a specific interest in political science with a focus on gender justice, looking at how to connect women to local markets. Her art focuses on her relationships with people, and the romantic and longing ways she feels about how we connect and love each other from distances. She is passionate about working with women and youth, and hopes to make a career that revolves around combining her love for community with her artistic pursuits. Outside of her passion for visual arts, Mira also enjoys performing in musical theater, playing the guitar, singing, dancing, and outdoor education/leadership.
