Sierra is a Providence native. She attended Classical High School, and went to New Urban Arts all four years. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in writing and rhetoric. She is currently the creative writing mentor here at New Urban Arts. She loves all things writing and reading – poetry, short stories, essays and novels. She is passionate about the work she does with young folks and is always ready to do whatever it takes to help our students.
