(They/Them/She/Her)
I am a painter, arts-maker, trouble-maker, community activist and equal parts cat and dog lover. I most recently received my Masters in Public Humanities from Brown University. I am passionate about using art as a catalyst for empowerment and healing for LGBTQIA+, female identified, BIPOC students. My passion has been put into action as I have worked as the Director of Youth Programming at arts non-profit for 7+ years.
My educational background has been focused on nonprofit management, facilitation and art practice that encompasses social justice practices. I got my degree in film, with a satellite focus on critical race theory, at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. I have received a certification in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington. I also received a certification in Creative Facilitation from Portland Center of Equity and Inclusion + Partners of Youth Empowerment.
