We had a successful seventh fall session with NUA Knights this year! With a total of 11 programs including some youth favorites like Book Club, Cooking, eSports and Fashion & Design, and two new programs: Student Community Engagement and Art Club run by our very own NUA and Central alum Sherly Torres. At the beginning of this month we had a total of 175 youth participating in at least one program (many of our students participate in multiple programs), with an average weekly attendance of 96 youth. 

A major highlight this fall was the Cooking Club. Youth get to choose what they learn to cook each week and recently they decided on a full on seafood boil, complete with andouille sausage, potatoes, corn, snow crab and jumbo shrimp. We’re grateful for All Saints Episcopal Church for opening their fantastic kitchen space for us each week to cook in!
