Kelly Harlow, NUA Knights Director

Kelly started her time with NUA at Central High in its first year as a NUA Knights intern while earning her B. A. from Rhode Island College. There she studied Youth Development and Non-profit Studies with a concentration in Holistic and Therapeutic Development. Kelly believes in leading with youth and social justice youth development and earned her M.A. in Youth Development in May of 2023. During her M.A. she focused her capstone project on critical participatory evaluation and how we can better engage young people in the program evaluation process. She is excited to come back to NUA as the NUA Knights Director working with Central’s students and staff.

A native Rhode Islander hailing from Little Compton Kelly enjoys the beach and all things summer. When not at work you can find her on a hike or nature trail, traveling, or at one of the many amazing markets or local restaurants RI has to offer. Creatively, she enjoys any and all types of crafts, painting and photography. Kelly currently resides in Pawtucket with her partner, their cat Alfredo, and more houseplants than she can count!
