Aarav Sundaresh is a visual arts teacher at Classical High School in Providence and an educational leader committed to activating student voice, honoring personal experience, and building understanding through creative practice. Aarav first became involved at New Urban Arts in 2004 through a Starr Fellowship while attending Brown University, and then continued service as an artist mentor and artist in residence. Aarav also currently serves on the Advisory Committee for The Rhode Island Foundation’s Equity Action and is a Core Collective member for the National Trans Educators Network.
