Julissa Magnone has an MA from Providence College in Educational Leadership and Administration, a BA from Rhode Island College in Elementary Education and an AA from the Community College of Rhode Island. She has taught at Providence Country Day School and currently teaches kindergarten at the bilingual Nuestro Mundo Charter School in Providence. She also serves on the Rhode Island Latino Arts Book Award Committee. Julissa loves to travel, read books (she hosts a book club every month with friends), write poetry and watercolor paint. She lives in Coventry with her husband, Josh, and our dog, Harold.
