Dan Mangano

Dan came to Providence in 2016 to attend the Rhode Island School of Design where he
is currently a third year bachelor of Architecture candidate. He has previously lived in
Philadelphia P.A. and Charlotte NC.

His work focuses on the relationships, associations and dis-associations between body,
space and place and the relationship between these to the act of drawing. Drawing, both
a verb and a noun inculcates not just the physicality of the drawn but the experience of
making as integral to a work, he approaches the act of drawing as one that exists
between truth and lie, a method of interpreting the phenomena we exist in and around,
translating it to a dimensional surface. He is eager to work with everyone at NUA and be
involved with a collaborative space of making.
