Jesse, raised in Liberia and a longtime Providence resident, is a freelance photographer who first came to New Urban Arts as student over six years ago. He is now a board member and active Artist Mentor, who looks forward to bridging diverse art mediums and art makers through collaborative projects, which extend beyond the darkroom. His photography allows him to see daily life and develop more of an understanding of the world around him.  Currently, he is working on a series that strategically places lighting among darkness to emphasize how people need others.
