Katrina is a Providence born-and-raised lover of art, a NUA alum, a former STAB member, and a passioneur of intercultural engagement and education. Reproductive health rights and raising awareness about Period Poverty are at the forefront of Katrina’s creative work. Caring for animals and environmental justice guides much of Katrina’s thinking about moving forward as a young person in this world, on this Earth. This first year as a Volunteer Mentor at New Urban Arts is bound to be a wonderful learning and growing experience for Katrina, so with much eager anticipation, onward we go!
