MJ Sanqui is a Filipino artist, writer, & designer from Western NC currently living and working on unceded Narragansett land, colonially known as Providence, RI. Their practice exists across intersections between experimental publishing and contemporary craft; they fluidly appropriate print, paper, photography, text, video, and the book form and are constantly asking questions about the meaning in materials. They are a former resident and current member of the Binch Press / Queer.Archive.Work studio, a co-organizer of the Queer/Trans Zine Fest, and a triple water sign.
