Sara is a sculptor, is a senior at Rhode Island School of Design. This is Sara’s third year as an Artist Mentor at New Urban Arts teaching sculpture. She enjoys manipulating materials in installation works, taking inspiration from the city’s infrastructure and movements of migration. Each summer, Sara works with youth facilitating HIV/AIDS education and entrepreneurial workshops in Tanzania, Eastern Africa.
