Shannon Magrane

Shannon is not a local artist, in fact she lives over an hour from Providence, but she is still drawn to NUA like the tide to the moon. She is a designer, photographer, illustrator, sketcher, painter, writer, explorer, doodle extraordinaire, and a child at heart. She recently finished her undergrad studies of Art, Psychology, and Education at Clark University in Worcester, MA. At Clark she was able to lead the production of an arts and culture magazine, STIR, and begin to follow her passions in both critical pedagogy and art therapy. After spending a year teaching art to wild and wacky elementary age students after school, Shannon is looking forward to following and expanding her passions at NUA.
