Eva Joly

Eva grew up in a community of artists, dancers and musicians at the Piano Factory in Boston and has been living in United Kingdom for the past five years working as a machinist, eating haggis, avoiding heated football rivalries and taking in the mists and the moors.  She is excited about being closer to home and getting to know Providence and its people while studying for her MFA at RISD in Textiles.  She likes sewing, knitting, building temporary forts and imagining a world where everyone makes their own clothes. She can’t wait to explore new ways of making and being with the New Urban Arts Community.
