Emmie is a student at the Rhode Island School of Design. Born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts, Emmie was influenced at a young age by the creativity of her mother. As a high school student, Emmie participated in intensive pre-college summer programs at the Art Institute of Boston, Massachusetts College of Art, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Her work ranges from photography to painting to bookmaking to assemblage. This year, Emmie will be working with students at New Urban Arts on building their portfolios, as well as developing black and white photography.
