Kat McCorkle

Kat McCorkle is an attorney at the Rhode Island Center for Justice, where their work is focused on housing/eviction defense, public utilities, and prisoner’s rights/criminal justice issues. Before law school, Kat served with the AmeriCorps program City Year Boston, worked at an independent bookstore in Cambridge MA, and freelanced as a stage manager and props designer. They graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in English Literature, with a specialty in theater, and graduated with honors from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2024. Kat enjoys reading, hiking, and sewing in their spare time, and is proud to now call Providence home with their partner and two cats.
