Patrick Laundry currently serves as the senior vice president, director of business intelligence & strategic planning for BankNewport. In my role, I am responsible for the
development, delivery, and coordination of analysis of bank data, market trends, and the competitor landscape to inform strategic decision making and help capitalize on identified growth opportunities, optimize operational efficiencies, and ensure the Bank’s long-term success. I have more than two decades of experience in banking, 23 of which were spent at Citizens Bank. My last role there was senior vice president, senior strategy manager, Business Banking. Prior to Citizens, I worked as a senior manager, bank relations and treasury operations at Sun Life Financial in Wellesley, Massachusetts. I began my career with Fidelity investments in the early 90s.

I was born and raised outside of Chicago but would spend summer vacation in Rhode Island as a child, my mother originally being from North Providence. I have BA degrees in Economics and Philosophy as well as a Master of Business Administration all from Boston College. I am a graduate of the CBA Executive Banking School, formerly the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management. I have lived on the East Side of  Providence for 23 years with my wife Melissa. My son, Carson, now a 2024 graduate of Quinnipiac University, attended Providence Public Schools graduating from Classical High School in 2020.
