Rob MacInnis

Rob grew up in the friendly neighbor to the North—Canada! (Nova Scotia to be precise.) He played music as a kid and now plays Trombone in the What Cheer Brigade. He didn’t discover his love for visual art until well after high school. Since graduating from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, he’s lived all over – Ireland, Canada and the US. He gets inspiration from everything from math equations to movies and has been a professional artist since 2007. He just completed a humongous 30 ft photograph that was installed in a building in Edmonton Alberta and has sold his artwork to famous people like Spock! (Yes, Spock!).  This is his second year mentoring at New Urban Arts and he’s crazy excited to find some now projects to do!
